Centre for Distance Learning (CDL) supports, designs, and manages distance and blended learning mediums
at Suleyman Demirel University.
– Deals with issues connected to digital and technology-enabled aspects of the courses
– Participates in decision-making and planning pertaining to distance learning matters.

Initiating the rise of opportunities for a diverse student population by offering the advantages of innovative technologies at the core of the courses.
We are committed to developing distance learning potential which is aimed at access to education and resources, support students’ prosperity, provision of high quality, and fostering student-faculty relationships.
VISION
Creating a high-quality digital learning environment to empower and transform academic processes at Suleyman Demirel University as well as to be recognized as a hub of distance education gradually within the next three years.

HELPDESK
A HelpDesk is a resource intended to provide the customer or user with information and support related to institution’s products and services.
MOODLE PLATFORM
Moodle LMS is a user-friendly Learning Management System (LMS) that supports learning and training needs for a wide range of institutions and organizations across the globe.
Moodle delivers a powerful set of learner-centric tools and collaborative learning environments that empower both teaching and learning. Because of its flexibility and scalability, Moodle has been adapted for use across education, business, non-profit, government, and many other community systems of all sizes.
WEBEX MEETINGS
A Webex Meetings is an online meeting service that allows you to virtually meet with other people, without leaving your home or office.
Webex Meetings require a computer with Internet access or a separate phone line. By logging into the meeting via the Internet, you will be able to see the presenter’s computer screen as well as experiening different functions. By calling into the conference phone number, you will be able to hear the presenter and other participants.
STUDIO
A Studio is a unit at the SDU, open platform where staff is offered various resources and support for the development of online learning and teaching. In addition, the CDL helps to use multimedia tools in the development of courses, teaching and assessment during distance learning.
The main goal of the Studio is to support teachers in developing high-quality multimedia educational content, as well as conducting trainings aimed at developing talented teachers in the field of digital technologies.
Studio is equipped with soundproof room and cabins, where big room is convenient for video shooting and the cabins are used for online lecturing. The studio is fully equipped with professional audio-visual equipment and is always ready to help in the implementation of any projects of SDU teachers.
The center itself provides the opportunity to book a studio, booth or sign up for a consultation.

Manages, develops and implements strategic plans, policies and standards of effective Distance Education process, monitors the effective performance of the Centre and drives success in Distance Learning.
