Akzira Serikkali, Director of the Social Project Monitoring Department of the Finance Centre, visited Suleyman Demirel University and met with students.
The meeting provided information on
• Payment conditions for the state grant;
• Which institutions will accept the compensation;
• Which categories of graduates are exempt from compensation by law;
• What are the consequences in case of non-payment;
• How it is calculated;
• Terms of “rural quota” payment and others.
Akzira Serikkali explained to senior students the rules of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan on Education and other legal acts, provided explanations and answered participants’ questions.
“Every year, more students graduate in our country. The application that is required from you is that you must enter the workplace by September 1 or provide information about your enrolment in Master’s programmes by September 30. I am here today to explain your rights, to provide information about your grant refund conditions,” said the Financial Centre office specialist.
