On 1 November, Consul General of the United States of America in Almaty, Caroline Savage visited Suleyman Demirel University. During an official visit, the guest met with university students and staff.
The main purpose of the visit was a meeting organized by SDU Faculty of Law and Social Sciences for the students of International Relations and Diplomacy program. These meetings have an important role in training future diplomats. The theory studied at the university, strengthened by the experience shared by diplomats will definitely help students analyze the events taking place in today’s world politics from a diplomatic point of view and evaluate them like a future politician.
Madiyar Saudbaev, SDU Faculty of Law and Social Sciences dean, noted that in the future, the program plans to invite foreign embassies and consuls6 Kazakhstani diplomats and specialists of the field to share their experience.
