On 30 October, Suleyman Demirel University held an Open Day. At the opening ceremony, Alimzhan Igenbayev, SDU Rector, expressed his gratitude to the guests. Ruslan Yemelbaev, National Testing Centre Director, appeared as the main guest of the event. Director shared information about the innovations of UNT in 2023, changes in the number of answer choices, unchanged rules and the grant competition. Over a thousand people attended Open Day.
“Today’s main goal was to meet with applicants. We met more than a thousand pupils. Such events are very important for the National Testing Centre. Because such meetings provide a very good opportunity to get to know the main customers of our service – schoolchildren, to listen to their opinions and questions. Today I talked about some of the changes and innovations of UNT that will be held in 2023,” said Ruslan Yemelbayev.
During the event, pupils, parents and teachers were introduced to SDU educational programmes, opportunities and social work, then toured the campus. According to statistics, most of the schoolchildren who came to learn about the university were interested in Faculty of Education and Humanities as well as Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences.
