Today, the 10th International Conference Building Cultural Bridges “Promoting equitable education in a changing world” started in Almaty. The International Conference is attended by domestic and foreign scientists from the UK, India, Thailand, Kyrgyzstan, and Russia.
Alimzhan Igenbayev, Rector of Suleyman Demirel University, expressed his greetings to the participants at the opening ceremony and congratulated all teaching staff on Teacher’s Day.
“Nowadays scholars are discussing equitable education in the world. It is a great honor for our university to host such an International Academic Conference. Our main goal in organizing this event is to promote values based on the whole system of education and cooperation between different cultures in the era of globalization. Also, to create a platform for establishing scientific and professional contacts with domestic and foreign researchers, to find optimal solutions to current problems in the field of education. I believe that research presented on this topic during this conference will contribute to the educational process. Dr. Darkhan Bilyalov, Rector of Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University, mentioned the importance of this educational event.
“Today’s international conference is incredibly important. First of all, the issue of equality and quality in education. This topic is very important both in Kazakhstan and all over the world, when children do not have equal opportunities to get quality education. Our conference researchers are trying to define the scale of the problem and suggest possible solutions,” he said.
The international conference provides an opportunity to learn about the many ideas for educational improvement.
