Education leaders met today at Suleyman Demirel University for Central Asia Rectors’ Forum.
Among the guests were First Deputy Minister of Higher and Secondary Specialised Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan Komiljon Karimov and Vice Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kuanysh Yergaliyev. Rectors and Vice-Rectors of Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan universities also visited SDU. They were introduced to the educational programmes and the teaching process.
First Deputy Minister of Higher and Secondary Specialised Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan expressed his deep gratitude to SDU staff and wished success in their work.
“25 years of university service is only the beginning. I have noticed that Suleyman Demirel University has great prospects. I wish you all the best. I hope that in 50 or 100 years the hospitality of the university will be the same. Keep the students and staff coming here with the same enthusiasm as now. It is the leading indicator. I hope that our cooperation with you will develop further,” said Komiljon Karimov.
During the meeting, Central Asian education leaders learned about Kazakhstan’s education system and discussed partnership issues.
