The presentation of the book entitled “Post-Soviet Dynamics in the Central Asian Region” prepared by the faculty members of the International Relations program was held on December 9, 2021 in Alatau Creative Hub. The event was organized by the Department of Social Sciences of the Faculty of Law and Social Sciences of the Suleyman Demirel University. The book includes chapters written by associate professor, PhD Galym Zhussipbek, assistant professor, PhD Shatlyk Amanov, assistant professor, PhD Aizada Nuriddenova, senior lecturer, MA Durdona Yussupova, senior lecturer, MA Xeniya Kryakvina, MA Gaukhar Baltabayeva, senior lecturer, MA Assel Abisheva and MA Maryam Ydyrys.
The book was prepared as a textbook for students of international relations, international law, journalism, history and public administration majors. The textbook covers such topics as human rights, foreign policy of Kazakhstan, regionalism, migration, national identity and gender in the post-Soviet region and in Central Asia in particular.
