Consortium of the ALLVET project 609952-EPP-1-2019-1-RS-EPPKA2-CBHE-JP / «HE and VET alliance establishment according to Bologna Principals implementation via VET teachers’ capacity building», consisting of NAO “Narkhoz University”, University named after Suleiman Demirel, International University of Information Technologies held a two-day training for representatives of colleges and universities of Kazakhstan on June 22nd and 23rd, 2021.
The purpose of the trainings is to familiarize participants with the basics of the Tuning methodology in creating educational programs and courses based on competencies and Learning outcomes, with the advantages of ECTS/Tuning, as well as the dissemination of the results of the ALLVET project among colleges of the Republic of Kazakhstan, training representatives of colleges and universities of the Republic of Kazakhstan in specific English terminology used in the development of training courses, as well as working with the online training platform Moodle. Aida Yergalieva and Diyar Nurmetov contributed to the trainings from our university. Aida Yergaliyeva made an introductory presentation about the Bologna process, and Diyar Nurmetov told about different types of competencies in the educational process.
The training sessions were also attended by the Project Coordinator of the University of Kragujevac, Cacak, Serbia and the University of Deusto, Spain, as well as teachers of the two remaining members of the consortium. The participants of the trainings were representatives of the consortium universities, as well as representatives of colleges: Narxoz University College of Economics, International University Teachers College Astana, Almaty State Polytechnic College, College of the International Academy of Business, Almaty Automechanical College, Central Asian Technical and Economic College.
