The delegation of KIMEP University, headed by the Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Education Zhuldyz Smagulova, as well as Professor of the Language Center Maganat Shegebayev, paid a business visit to the Suleyman Demirel University. The guests were met by the Rector of SDU Kuanysh Yergaliyev, Vice Rector for Academic and Research Affairs Davronzhon Gaipov and Dean of the Faculty of Education and Humanities Sciences Talgat Zhussipbek. A tour of the university campus was held, with a demonstration of the material and technical base, as well as strategically important objects of the educational institution.
During the meeting, Dean of the Faculty of Education and Humanities Sciences Talgat Zhussipbek, introduced the guests to the activities of the faculty, spoke about the specialties and advantages of educational programs.
It is worth noting that the business visit was the beginning of the start of great opportunities for collaboration and included numerous contacts with representatives of the academic community and the teaching community of KIMEP University. The most important point of the visit program was the discussion of a wide range of issues on strengthening the strategic partnership between the pedagogical faculties of the two universities. In particular, the parties intend to strengthen bilateral cooperation in improving and developing a number of important aspects, such as:
– wide exchange of experience in terms of educational programs and the curriculum system;
– strengthening the student exchange program;
– exchange of guest speakers;
– conducting trainings, master classes and thematic workshops on professional development of the teaching staff and many other aspects.
Dr. Davronzhon Gaipov noted the productivity of the meeting and expressed the readiness of the faculty team to dynamically implement the tasks set. In turn, Zhuldyz Smagulova highly appreciated the activities of the SDU and noted the special synergy between the universities, indicating similarities in the methodology, training of high-quality personnel and academic policy.
