Innovative IT lab launched as part of SDU’s partnership with Erasmus+

      The ACeSYRI laboratory (Advanced center for PhD Students and Young Researchers in Informatics), aimed at undergraduates, doctoral students and young researchers, opened on the basis of the faculty of Engineering and natural Sciences of the Suleyman Demirel University.
Rector of SDU Kuanysh Yergaliev took part in the solemn launch of the laboratory along with the team of the faculty of Engineering.                 
– This is a partnership project within the framework of strategic cooperation between our University and the Consortium of universities of the international Erasmus + program . Today, along with the SDU, the consortium includes 7 universities in Kazakhstan, 3 educational institutions in Europe and 2 Kazakhstan associations. The project is fully sponsored by the Erasmus+Program. The main goal of opening the laboratory is to connect external partners with PhD students and managers of our University and create conditions for developing the young potential of researchers among undergraduates and doctoral students. And this is a unique platform for interaction with Kazakh and foreign universities, wide exchange of experience and expert opinion, – says the Dean of the faculty of Engineering and natural Sciences Andrey Bogdanchikov.
       At the same time, the official website was launched project ACeSYRI  and centralized portal. The laboratory is fully equipped with computers, a telecommunications system and the necessary equipment that allows you to interact online with an audience from anywhere in the world. During the event, participants were shown all the technical capabilities of the laboratory and tested the first online connections. Rector of SDU Kuanysh Yergaliev highly appreciated the capabilities of the new laboratory and wished the team of the faculty of Engineering success and fulfillment of its strategic goals.
– This is a very important platform for young researchers of our University, which allows them to effectively interact with world experts in conditions of uncertainty and rapid changes. I Express my gratitude to the project partners and the international Erasmus+ program, which serves as an effective tool for promoting the development of human and social capital not only in Europe, but also abroad,  – Kuanysh Yergaliev concluded.
