New perspectives of cooperation between SDU and Young Researchers Alliance

Last week representatives from Young Researchers Alliance of Kazakhstan paid an official visit to SDU. Rector of SDU Kuanysh Yergaliyev personally welcomed guests from Nur-Sultan and wished young researchers success in accomplishment of their objectives. At informal and friendly environment, specialists of different spheres and scientific fields shared their own experiences, unique ideas and joint plans directed to the development of science in the country.
The Head of YRA Assiya Yermukhamedova strongly believes that Alliance can become a trigger for the development of Kazakhstani science and that, in cooperation with their associates, young researchers are able to acquire grants, new skills and obtain useful acquaintances. According to the Head of Alliance, young researchers are open to a dialog and look forward to networking with people from different regions of the country.
– Alliance’s mission is quite serious. We set up ambitious goals to promote scientific researches through demonstration of experiments that will be available and clear to non-scientific audience. We seek the ways to cooperate with SDU and we see great perspectives for our collaboration, it is time to work together. Now Alliance consists of 246 members – representatives from different regions and completely different directions that have some contact points and actively work on joint projects. One of Alliance’s directions “Galym Bol” has already become popular among people concerned. We break stereotypes and demonstrate that there is science in our country and it can be attractive, – admits Assiya Yermukhambetova.
It should be noted that today Alliance cooperates with Council of Young Scientists at the Ministry of Education of RoK, it also works on collaborations with the Ministry of Ecology and Health of RoK. Alliance’s major mission is the use of scientific researches in social life. Members of Alliance – Beibit Abdikenov, Madina Junussova, Aknur Baibatyrova and many other interesting speakers/representatives of various scientific fields – presented their speeches to their colleagues from SDU and shared their personal accomplishments and their own experiences in the field. Along with that, participants raised questions concerning the difficulty of scientific activities implementation and discussed ways to upgrade the status of a scientist in Kazakhstan. By the end of the meeting participants has determined their joint plans and goals for enhancement of further strategic partnership.
