In July 2018, I planned to go on a trip to exchange experiences and chose Southeast Asia, because they have today seen a dynamic development in all areas.
I was wondering what the secret of their success was, what interesting directions they had, what innovations were taking place in the field of science and education. As a result, I applied for an educational conference in Thailand on the related topic “Education and Financing,” which I researched as part of my dissertation at the university. The conference was held in Bangkok. Before that, I participated in a conference organized by the Nazarbayev University, so I was attracted by the audience, lively discussions and professional exchange of experience. I realized that people go abroad not only to relax and travel, but also to establish connections and expand networking. At least I was hoping to see the world. During the trip, I managed to compare for myself the indicators of the modern standard of living, in which we are lagging behind and in no way inferior. For me, this was the first experience in the field of educational travel, which has become a special technology for mastering the world. I took part in the conference on behalf of the SDU, presented my work, which caused an interesting discussion among the participants. I made conclusions for myself that in terms of knowledge and training, we are not in the last place – we have good English, correct vision and life guidelines. Of course, there were participants who were much more advanced, for example, from Australia, but we are not far behind the countries of Southeast Asia, which, in principle, pleases. I noticed that the residents of these countries do not experience complexes from a low level of proficiency in English, poor pronunciation and other factors, while we have certain barriers, we wait until we learn English, we get a certain degree and
much more. The conference itself was held for two days, within which the tools for communication and collaboration were provided. I chose a section for the presentation and presentation of my work. Speech to an international audience was for me the first great experience. The audience vividly discussed my work, received various proposals, as a result of which I became more deeply involved in my topic. In terms of networking, I also acquired new acquaintances from the UK and New York, with whom I have established business connections. Upon arrival in the country, I used this invaluable experience as a case study. I believe that our students and young professionals can not limit themselves in terms of development, education, obtaining new competencies. It is always necessary to look for new opportunities, various tools and sources of financing. There will always be some help that will open up new opportunities for you. As teachers, we ourselves have been charged with this idea and are currently working to establish business ties between the students of the Business School. External relations and support is a great help in promoting young professionals.
