The Faculty of Philology at SDU offers an undergraduate degree program of Translation Studies as the integral part of Foreign Languages Department. Students are taught the theories and techniques of translation and interpreting, and provided with the necessary cultural background and skills for a career in translation and interpreting. Literary translation workshops and seminars on world literature are taught with an emphasis on the contemporary international scene. So, the curriculum and activities of the Program of Translation Studies provide an innovative foundation for the study of literature and the humanities as well.
