Folder (Foreign Language Development and Research) Center which has been working since 2006, is a library for the students of philology faculty where is suitable for self-accessing and developing language skills and general knowledge. In FOLDER center students can work on their own with a range of material, from grammar reference and workbook-type tasks to audio and video excerpts. They have an access to a big choice of grammar books, reading books, E-books and Dictionaries. Foreign language newspapers and magazines, ELT-CDs and enormous choice of movies in DVDs in English and other languages, Exam preparation materials; One way of setting up a FC is just to put piles of material in a room or have computers that students can hook themselves up to. However, this is unlikely to be advantageous for students who may not know what to do or where to go to do it. But we have a solution for such kind of misunderstandings. Therefore we have FC administrators. They have a major role in helping students to use the FC centre successfully and follow appropriate pathways. Students can be shown where things are, can be helped with hardware and software problems and directed down new pathways. The materials which we can offer to our students:
