The goal of this program is preparing qualified personnel with analytical thinking ability, working in the field of international relations, knowledgeable in the laws of the development of international relations and certain countries’ internal and external foreign policies.
Due to the current political situation there is an annual shortage of qualified specialists in the sphere of international relations in the world. So the university is in close contact with embassy and consulates of foreign countries, representatives of international organizations, foreign companies, and cultural centers in order to prepare qualified specialists.
Since education in the department of International relations is carried out in English, students receive an opportunity to study the global competitive quality. Knowledge of terminology in English allows students to access academic literature in the field of political science, diplomacy and international relations.
The program is in accordance with the standards of the Republic of Kazakhstan, requirements of the international institutions of higher education and is especially in accordance with the requirements of the English-speaking countries.
Classes like political history in political spectre, international relations theory, international law, diplomatic and consular services, training and statistics, micro and macroeconomics, international political economy, as well as the basics of communication theory and intercultural communication.
“International Relations” graduates are able to work in analytical centers, international relations, foreign policy, dealing with relations between state and non-state profile of the state organizations and institutions, international organizations, institutions, foundations, non-governmental organizations.
Our graduates work in public and private institutions. About 20% of graduates go to the magistracy in foreign universities under the program "Bolashak".
