On 13-14 November, Ashgabat, the capital of Turkmenistan, hosted a large-scale educational exhibition entitled "Days of Kazakhstan's Education", organized by the Bolashak International Program Center with the support of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
20 leading universities of Kazakhstan participated in the educational exhibition, such as Nazarbayev University, Eurasian National University, SDU and KIMEP.
The two-day event included presentation about bachelor's, master's, PhD programs, international programs, special technologies in the field of education, teaching aids and special techniques, additional training, and unique university projects - SPT Olympiad and Infomatrix.
Approximately three thousand future graduates showed interest in Kazakhstani educational institutions. Our Ashgabat brothers were especially interested in language proficiency and listened to information about two foreign language and international relations programs.
In addition, representatives of the Turkmen universities (teachers, vice rectors) also exchanged views on bilateral issues, exchange of students.
- The demand for universities in Kazakhstan is very high, but because the Turkmen state has no connection with the Internet, future graduates can not get full information about the educational institutions of the country. Therefore, it is necessary to take part in such platforms for the next five years, and to provide students with a direction about the university, - says Omarbek Nurbavliev, head of PR and marketing department.
Nowadays, 6 students are studying in SDU.
In the near future it is planned to establish an international office in the University and to start a student exchange program with the CIS countries.
At the exhibition, the Bolashak Center for International Programs paid special attention to the SDU and provided comprehensive informational support. In this regard, we would like to thank our colleagues.
