New approaches to the application of dual education in the mass media industry are being introduced by Suleyman Demirel University and Almaty TV channel. This was agreed in the official Memorandum signed today by the rector of the university Kanat Kozhakhmet and the general director of Almaty TV Alibek Aldeney.
Within the framework of the Memorandum, the parties identified a number of specific areas of mutual cooperation aimed at developing and implementing joint innovative projects, creative and subject competitions that enhance the quality of education in the field of mass media, conduct training workshops, seminars and master classes for students.
At the same time, the strategic partnership provides for the provision of methodological assistance in the design of curricula, special courses and elective courses, the exchange of practical experience and knowledge in the field of television journalism in the country. Provides the opportunity to train personnel for the Kazakhstani and international media industry, as well as job placement for students.
The beginning of close bilateral cooperation will be the republican contest "I want to be a journalist", organized in honor of the 60th anniversary of the Kazakh television, which starts from the beginning of April this year. The contest is aimed at graduates of schools and colleges this year. It should be noted that the contest pursues several large-scale goals - popularizing and enhancing the image of the journalist's profession within the framework of celebrating the 60th anniversary of domestic journalism, searching for and identifying creative and gifted children both from large cities and from remote regions of the country.
