A scientific and practical conference "Philology and Pedagogy in Modern Conditions" has started. The event is dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the scientific figure, Doctor of Philology, Professor Zauresh Akhmetzhanova.

Along with the faculty of the university, leading experts of the A. Baytursynov Institute of Linguistics, as well as prominent scientists and philologists of the country take part іn the work of the conference. In the solemn part, the conference participants together with the leadership of the university congratulated the professors on their jubilee and expressed their gratitude for the significant contribution to the development of linguistics.

In the plenary part of the meeting participants voiced reports and research papers on topics such as "Theoretical and methodological foundations of human capital development in BIGDATA era", "Communicative competence as human capital development component", "Fundamental literacy as the basis for capitalization of knowledge", "Institute Role linguistics in the context of modeling the future content of the state language ", etc.

An important part of the conference was the round table, which discussed issues of the transition of the Kazakh language to Latin script, the role of the higher education system in the formation of human capital, and a number of topical issues relating to the upbringing of the modern generation.

It should be noted that on November 30 Central State Museum of Almaty hosts an exhibition dedicated to the scientific works of Professor Zauresh Akhmetzhanova. And also master classes are planned from leading linguists of the country.
